TUDOR AND THE 6 HOURS OF BAHRAIN: HERITAGE AND EXCELLENCE

The 2013 Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) came to a thrilling conclusion on 30 November at the Bahrain International Circuit when the Toyota TSO30 no 8 outpaced the Audi R18 e-tron quattro no 1 by just over a minute to claim the final race of the season. While Toyota's victory upset the formbook, it was Audi who sealed the coveted LMP1 Manufacturers' World Championship after defeating their main rivals in no fewer than six rounds of a compelling 2013 season.  »

One for the history books

Once again, the men's Roc d'Azur was a race like no other. With two Olympic champions on the podium, the 2013 edition will go down in history. The 37-year-old Frenchman Miguel Martinez, who won the Olympics and the Worlds in 2000, took the 30th edition of the Roc d'Azur ahead of Germany's Milatz and the Czech Republic's Kulhavý, a gold medallist at London 2012. A fitting climax for a sunny 2013 edition which once again left its mark. Foto (c) ASO - P. Ballet / S. Boué /P. Perreve.  »

GOODWOOD DELIVERS

"The Goodwood Revival is unique." So says anyone who has ever visited the annual classic car event located in a pastoral idyll near Chichester on the south coast of the United Kingdom. The 2013 edition was yet another example of how meticulous planning, an appreciation of detail and a large dose of enthusiasm can lead a seemingly simple concept - historic cars racing around a racetrack - to become an internationally acclaimed rendezvous. A reference for a gentler time, when dress sense and manners mattered, when life was slower paced - save for the advances in the automobile.Race 1 - Freddie March Memorial Trophy - gets underway.
